I went shopping yesterday and I was able to score this really sumptuous comforter set. I thought it would play off my red curtains and go pretty well, also giving The Hubs and I some place really special for us. The chocolate brown is really rich and the satin-like parts on the comforter are a treat. :) We don't have anything so soft usually!


I'm still in the process of pulling this space together. Please ignore the play-pen in there! It is a necessity while I'm watching my niece full-time!


Over the head board, I have 2 11x14 pictures to hang. They are artsy-fartsy photos that I got on Etsy. They're in simple minimalist shadow type frames and I think they will help draw your eye up over our huge bed. I also need to re-vamp the cubby area over our closet so that it looks more 'matched' with the rest of the room. I'm thinking 'The Wave' is going to have to find a new home!
