I put dinner in the oven this morning to slow cook it but instad of just putting it in a warm oven, I had the temperature set to like 350 so when I came back from the store, all the food was burned. I turned the oven down, but it was too late, the damage was done! So I went ahead and ate the saurkrautt myself and gobbled up all the sausage too. It was a cold day, I skipped breakfast and my tummy was very happy for the fulfilling snack.

On the boring note: I did laundry today...or well...I *will* do laundry. I need to get off my buns first. I also put the dishes away. I have a whole sink full of dishes waiting to get loaded up. My house is trashed. I'm so exhausted. But to be honest, I'm really surprised at how good of a mood I'm in. Thank goodness for small favors!

I have a holiday ornament exchange Christmas party in the neighborhood tomorrow night. I'll be out and away from the kids and the hubs for many hours. I'm excited. Real. Live. Adults. will be there and I get to talk to them!!! Giggidy!! I'm bringing a baguette and spinach/artichoke humus to the party.
