The Thursday Thirteen!!

,

Let's see!!! As this is my **FIRST** time in the Thursday Thirteen, I think I will tell you 13 things about me that you may not know. I make no promises that these things will be interesting or in any way flattering.

1.) I was born bald, grew blonde hair and ringlets which then turned brown and straight. Also, I was born with worry lines on my forehead and they've done nothing but gotten worse over the past 28 years.

2.) I do not like to cuddle much. I'd rather sleep alone except for the cats.

3.) No matter what is wrong with me, a bath will make it all better.

4.) I never wanted kids. Now here we are with 2 and we're thinking about having another!

5.) I lived in Huntsville, AL for about a year when I was 9. Otherwise, I've lived in Texas my whole life.

6.) I would have a dozen pets if my Hubby would let me.

7.) If I eat too many Lay's sour cream and onion chips, my stomach gets upset and my farts smell like the chips. Srsly. I couldn't make this up! ...and my Husband loves me anyway. LOL

8.) Sometimes I wish I'd slept with more people before I'd met my husband. Just 'cuz I'm curious like that.

9.) I haven't seen or spoken to my father in about 20 years.

10.) I love root beer, chocolate covered AND yogurt covered pretzels.

11.) I'm a neat freak and a clutter bug so I'm constantly going through my piles of papers I can't throw away to weed things out and make them smaller and more tidy.

12.) I have my belly button pierced and so far it has lasted through 2 pregnancies.

13.) I want to get more tattoos. I have one on my wrist and I have thoughts of at least 2 more but I can't decide where to put them and I can't justify the cost.

So that's that! Thirteen things about me.

Next week, I'll think of 13 more things to share. Enjoy!

I'm amazed the piercing made it through the pregnancies. Did you belly button pop? Mine did for both pregnancies, right at the end, just like a friend told me it would.

Both times, my belly button just got flat. It never popped out which is why I guess the piercing never had to be removed.
The last time, it did end up with a stretch mark coming from it so it sure doesn't look as good as it used to, but still not too bad.
*I* like it anyway. LOL

.....what is a belly button pop?....
dude, that doesn't sound like something that'll make me want to have a baby...ever.

Haha. Loved number 7. Men's fart smell worst so I'm sure your hubby can't complain much.

I had my belly button pierced twice, too, and each piercing lasted for only a month..so I gave up trying.

For some folks when they get to the end of their pregnancies, their belly buttons pop outward. So your previous innie turns into an outtie.

It has never happened to me, I only get 'flatties' but it reminds me of the little button on turkeys that pops out when the turkey is done cooking. Know what I mean?

I'm also amazed that your belly button ring made it through two pregnancies!

Men's farts smell worse, so you're good. Even my daughters have noticed that their infant brothers poots are worse than theirs, which the older girl has grandly translated into 'boys smell worse than girls'. Indeed.
