Cape Completion Achieved!

,

I have put the velcro on the Cutie Girl cape and Olivia wears it with pride. It turned out to be a great length and I sewed on the velcro so there is some variability in the neck size. When she's bigger it should still fit. I just wanted to share:

Plus here's a good one that shows her...um....confident attitude as she is trying to swat the camera away. Darn paparazzi!

Oh What a cutie! I remember when my daughter...who is 28 now...used to run around wearing the cape I made her. It was "SheRa...Princess of Power" back then...sister of He Man. lol I still have it! Hang on to that cape...Fun post...Debbie

Oh she is so cute! One time at a craft fair, I found a woman who made capes - personalized - for kids. She would put their initial or whatever you wanted on the back but she used magnets in the neck pieces so it was easier for the kids to put on and it would unlatch easily if snagged. Just an idea... She had a website www.supercapes.com that I had to order another cape from when our last child was born so he could be like his brother. I think it's so cute that your daughter feels "mighty" with her cape on. She's a riot! :) ~ Laurie

Magnets at the neck, now that's a good idea. I'll check out that website, sounds like a great market. Every kid loves to play pretend.
Thanks Michelle, Debbie, Cheryl and Laurie! :)
