After many requests....well just one but whatever, who's counting. I decided to post some pictures of my living room so everyone can see what I'm up against, er...what I have to work with!

Here's my room from my entry way. You can see one of my couches (I cut out the other one so you couldn't see my currently messy kitchen!) There are my new pillows and on the back of the couch is my turquoise throw. I have yet to hem it and I want to put fringe on the ends, but I like it and it will be easy to care for and will keep the cat's dirt off the couch.



My mantle and curio cabinet. :) The screen isn't usually there in front of the fireplace, but it is right now because we had a fire in there recently and I haven't cleaned out all the soot yet! I love how clean it looks when the screen is gone but with 3 small ones running around here, function ranks higher than looks at times! See my new bird? I got him at TJ Maxx the other day. I love him, he was $3!


Here's my TV/entertainment center and my rocking chair. That beachy picture is going above the TV sometime soon, I hope! See the shelves?? They're a lot less cluttered than they were before, how do they look?

Oh and before I forget. Oh, to be honest, I couldn't forget, he's sprawled out on my lap right now! I got a new dog today. Do you remember me sobbing about how I wanted a puppy and my Hubs always tells me no? You don't? Well believe me, I've wanted a puppy for months now and I GOT ONE TODAY!!!! My mom went to the local pound and called me about this dog that was there, small, tan, male, etc. CUTE. So I told her to get him, if I didn't take him, she said she'd love to keep him.
I've named him Miles and he's a terrier mix. He's about 5 lbs now and has wirey hair. Here's pictures of him. He's a mess! So playful and crazy! He chases the cats and jumps on the kids, what a terror, but when Mama sits down he's on my lap, kissing me and loving me. ::swoon::


Here he is playing with China from the top of my coffee table/storage ottoman. Did I mention that he jumps around and runs around on the furniture/beds like the cats do? He's nuts!

Did someone say "Nuts??"

Everyone please give Miles a warm welcome to our clan. Now we have more critters living in my home than I can count. :P
