I wish I was done decorating my house. But really I don't. It seems like decorating is something that ::never:: gets done, instead it is constantly evolving and changing with the seasons, holidays and tastes!

I went to Target today, looking for a gem to add to my home and left without much of anything. I did find a cute pair of shoes for my daughter for $3.50 on the clearance rack and I did purchase some pretty righteous make up for myself. I thought my old make up was a little too pink. I felt like I was just a short step away from looking like Miss Piggy, which isn't a good look for me.
I changed up my beauty products, tossed out my old foundation and went with a concealer and some mineral make up powder to cover some freckles and stuff. It is very fancy. Here's a picture, since I'm a big dork. ;^P

Next Friday, I'll be headed to the Third Monday trade days near me. I'm going to look for some plates to hang, I think. I almost got some plastic ones at Target that were really pretty, but I didn't. Aside from the plastic ones they had, I didn't see any loose plates up there. Maybe some one bought them all before I got there.

I have been compiling pictures from here and there for my inspiration book...or well, my inspiration photobucket file, since I don't have a book! I'll tell you what, I'm all over the place with my tastes. It's not easy being eclectic!

Oh my hell! I didn't tell you!!! I got the 5 prints that L. Herbert Designs had for sale on her site. I got them and I love them. I'm planning on matting them and framing them and then hanging them in my hallway. They're wonderful!
So after I get those all framed up, I'll take pictures. I almost wish I had one more print so I could hang them in two rows of 3 in my hall. Hmmm, maybe I'll have to make that happen!

The garden is coming along nicely. Riley was looking out there the other day asking me where the food was. Fail!! No food yet! But everything is growing! I planted some seeds to replace what had been destroyed by dog and weather and things are sprouting up all over now. Very exciting.

I have been so sick lately. I had a cold which I shared with the children and now I have it again. My head is so stuffy and my ears are all backed up. Everything sounds both really loud and muffled at the same time. I just want to crawl into bed!
