My husband is a stick in the mud. When I sprang my fancy idea of turning the book shelves on their sides and stacking them, he was not on board at all. I mean, dead. set. against. it.

However, I have persevered and so far so good. I have plans to paint the shelves possibly but at least do some sort of mistreatment to shirt the new creation.
