Well, as I'm always saying, we're busy around here. I'm sure you don't believe me, but it really is true! Lately, we have been busier than usual!

We purchased a new loft bedroom set from a neighbor. Previously, Riley had a toddler bed and this bed...oh my gosh...this bed, he LOVES it. Here's a shot of his new room, sadly, I have no before shot, because it never occurs to me to take one!!


He has a desk that fits under the loft, but we have it just inside the door, you can just see the corner of it. With it out from under the loft, Riley has a nice little club house under there and he plays under there during quiet time. We have a nice place on top of his chest of drawers for the hermit crabs, so they don't need to be on the kitchen counter anymore! Hurray!

Olivia's room received some hand me down furniture from Riley's room. Initially, O didn't have a chest of drawers at all, but with R getting a new piece, R's old one migrated into O's room. Although the stain on her furniture doesn't match, we have no intention of changing it. Someday, she'll have a set and I don't plan on re-staining wood so it will match whatever's going on. I'm too lazy and that sounds like a lot of work. Ew.
So now she has a dresser in her room and I really like it. Her old tiny chest moved into her closet for more storage there and we got a big dresser now to hold all her baby clothes. She is a fashionista and needs space for accessories!!


We also picked up 2 new desks for our office. Previously, we had this weird corner desk kind of sitting in the middle of our office. I didn't like it but my husband thought it would work. Over time, I wasn't crazy about it, so we tried to sell it on Criagslist. It didn't sell but we bought these 2 new simple desks to replace it. In theory, I was going to use my little white desk as a sewing table and computer table, but the tables are too small and since the corner desk didn't sell I found a new use for it. :) :)

Now I use the corner desk as my sewing area. It is big enough for me to have lots of elbow room and I can store my supplies under it. The new furniture situation gives us a lot of floor space for the kids to roll around and be silly, which works for me!! :)

Also.....we got this gem last weekend!!! The kid's love it. We wanted to get them a set this summer but when a neighbor was selling this for such an awesome price ($125!!!!!!) we had to get it. Much happiness has already been had around this puppy and I know that since the weather is nicer now, we will get a lot of use out of them. I can hardly keep the kids inside these days, all they want to do is play outside!


Went to the dermatologist today and they did a biopsy on my neck. I'm so stiff now! I have 2 stitches back there and I have to keep it dry for the next few days. Hopefully no one will judge when I walk around looking like a grease monkey because I can't wash my hairs!

I hope everyone is doing well today. :) We've had a pretty good day so far. I'm making quesadillas for dinner tonight, which I have never done before! Should be fun!
